Custom Cabinets
There are times when pre-made cabinets are an adequate solution to your needs. If what you are looking for is unique to your taste, then custom is your solution. The design, the wood species, the grain, the color or stain will be approved by you. Cabinetry can be done many different ways, from contemporary to traditional. I will make recommendations based on your lifestyle, your needs and your budget to make your vision a reality. I will hand select each piece of hardwood and sheet goods from Timber Woodworking in Mesa. I will mill all of the hardwood in my shop and build each cabinet to exact dimensions specific to your project. If ordering doors and drawers are more cost and time effective, then I will ensure each piece is free from defects and of the highest quality. If time and budget allow, I will build every part. I will produce a finish sample for your approval before applying the finish to your custom cabinets. Once finishing is complete, I will install your custom cabinets. There will be open transparent communication throughout the entire process. Custom cabinetry can be a great addition to any room. Kitchen, bathroom, laundry room or a custom bar. The options are endless.
Pre-made Cabinets
To fit your budget for your remodel project, premade cabinets are a viable option. I will take your project from start to finish. From initial measure and design all the way to install. With my extensive experience you won’t be dealing with different salesman, designers or subcontractors pointing fingers at each other when mistakes are made. I have installed thousands of kitchens and solved hundreds of mistakes caused by sales and design with no “skin in the game”. Cabinet Refinishing
Cabinet refinishing is a fancy term for painting cabinets. If you want to change the look of your kitchen without doing a remodel, refinishing your cabinets is a good option to save money. All of your doors and drawer fronts will be removed and taken to my shop to be cleaned, sanded, repaired and refinished. I will mask off your kitchen to avoid a making a mess. Then I will clean, sand, repair and refinish your cabinets. I use a solvent based primer, paint, and a sealer with an HVLP system. This process will give you a very attractive, smooth and durable finish. If you would like new doors, drawer fronts, drawer boxes, upgraded crown molding, new pulls and knobs, soft close hinges and drawer glides, additional cabinets or modifications including changes base cabinets from doors to drawers, installing pullout shelves, I can do that as well.
Cabinet Modifications and Repairs
Changing the size of existing cabinets to fit new appliances, repairing broken cabinet parts or modifying the function of your existing cabinets should not be attempted by a handyman. I can help you save money by extending the life of your cabinets, avoiding costly replacements.
